Blizzard adds Xal'atath to Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard Entertainment has released Xal'atath as the 91st hero in Heroes of the Storm, marking the first new character addition to the MOBA in nearly six years.

Xal'atath is designed as a medium-difficulty ranged assassin. Her gameplay mechanics center on the Void theme, utilizing mana and a secondary resource called Soul Essence. Her abilities include Shadow Mark, Dark Heart Ritual, and Void Step, which allow for area-of-effect damage and mobility.

To celebrate the launch, Blizzard is offering special rewards through Twitch drops, including in-game currency and an epic mount. The announcement also teased that further content is in development, hinting at a potential 92nd hero.
