Blizzard Entertainment announces Midnight Patch 12.1.5

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the Midnight content update, Patch 12.1.5, scheduled to go live during the week of October 13. The update introduces several new gameplay features, including a single-boss raid against Kith’ix and a nine-chamber dungeon gauntlet known as the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan.

The patch also features a mid-season refresh for Season 2, including a revamped Keystone Mythic system and a new story campaign set in Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman. Players can prepare for the update starting the week of October 6 by completing specific quest chains in Voidstorm and Silvermoon City to unlock additional loot opportunities through Orin Straylight.

Further updates arriving the week of October 21 will include the permanent removal of the crest cap and the introduction of Ascendant venomstones. These items can be acquired from Mythic and Heroic raid bosses, high-level Mythic+ dungeons, and bountiful delves to upgrade max-tier equipment.
