Blockchain.com introduces options trading for eligible users

Blockchain.com has launched options trading functionality within its Trading Account, aimed at providing retail and institutional users with a simplified way to trade short-term market views. The new feature is designed to make the traditionally complex process of structuring options more accessible through an intuitive consumer app experience.

Users can select an expiry date and target price, after which the platform translates the input into the corresponding call or put option. At launch, eligible users can trade options on several cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Avalanche (AVAX), XRP, and TRON (TRX). Trades are funded upfront using USDC.
