Blockchain.com targets $500 million U.S. IPO at $4–$6 billion valuation

Blockchain.com is reportedly preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) in the United States, aiming to raise approximately $500 million. The company is seeking a valuation between $4 billion and $6 billion, a significant decrease from its peak valuation of $14 billion in 2022.

To facilitate the process, the company filed confidential draft registration documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May. Reports indicate that Blockchain.com is willing to reduce the size of the offering if necessary to ensure the successful completion of the debut.

In addition to its IPO plans, the company has been expanding its service offerings. It signed an agreement with the New York Stock Exchange to explore the integration of tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on its platform. The move comes as the broader cryptocurrency market shows signs of recovery, though investors remain cautious following the performance of other recently listed crypto-related firms.
