Bloodborne mod enables seamless five-player co-op on PC
A new unofficial mod titled ‘Bloodborne Seamless Co-op’ (BBSC) has been released for the shadPS4 emulator, allowing up to five players to engage in continuous cooperative play on PC. Created by modder CLS_AMG, the mod enables a host and up to four guests to progress through the entire game campaign together.
Unlike the original multiplayer system, which limits summons to specific areas or boss fights, BBSC maintains the cooperative session through deaths, area transitions, and visits to the Hunter’s Dream. Each player retains their own character, levels, and items. An optional shared progression feature allows defeated bosses and unlocked shortcuts to be reflected in the guests' worlds. To balance the gameplay, enemy strength scales according to the number of hunters in the session.
The mod also introduces a specialized cooperative item kit, including tools like the Hunt Bell and Duel Bell, which allows for toggling PvP. Connectivity is supported via public servers, player-hosted servers using tools like Radmin VPN or Tailscale, and local networks. The project is currently in its initial public testing phase, with developers recommending that players back up their save files.
