FromSoftware game seamless co-op mod releases
Overview
Community developers have released unofficial mods for PC to enable continuous cooperative play in FromSoftware titles.
In late September, a mod for Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, titled ‘Seamless Co-op’, was released in alpha. Developed by Yui, the mod allows up to six players to progress through the entire game in a single session without the session breaks typical of the original multiplayer mechanics.
Following this, a mod for the Bloodborne emulator, ‘Bloodborne Seamless Co-op’ (BBSC), was released for the shadPS4 emulator. Created by CLS_AMG, this mod allows up to five players to engage in continuous play, maintaining sessions through deaths and area transitions. The BBSC mod includes enemy scaling to balance gameplay and features such as a specialized cooperative item kit.
