Blooming and River Plate face challenges in regional football

In Bolivian football, Blooming is struggling under the leadership of Argentine coach Cristian Paulucci. In his first six official matches, the team has failed to secure a single victory, recording four losses and two draws. This negative run has resulted in the club's elimination from the Copa Bolivia and has hindered their progress in the professional division tournament.

Meanwhile, in Argentina, River Plate recently defeated Belgrano 3-0 in Córdoba, improving their standing to seventh place in the annual table with 49 points. Despite the win, the club faces a difficult path to qualify for the 2027 Copa Libertadores, currently holding a 13% mathematical probability of qualification. Their upcoming schedule includes high-stakes matches against Racing and Boca Juniors, which will be critical in determining their continental eligibility.
