Blue Devils Weiden strengthen roster with new signings and coach return

The Blue Devils Weiden, currently 13th in the DEL2, have announced several personnel changes to strengthen their roster. Head coach Dave Matsos has returned to his position after a period of illness, resuming his duties with the coaching staff. Mikhail Nemirovsky, who had been coaching the team in his absence, will continue as assistant coach.

The club has also secured two new players on tryout contracts through the Germany Cup break in November. Defender Benedikt Jiranek joins from the Bietigheim Steelers, bringing experience from 63 previous league matches. Additionally, German-Canadian goalkeeper Kristian Hufsky has been signed, following his tenure with the Hannover Scorpions.

Dave Matsos made his official competitive return to the sidelines during a recent away game against the Dresden Eislöwen.
