BLUE LOCK live-action film surpasses 1 billion yen at Japanese box office

The live-action film adaptation of the manga and anime 'BLUE LOCK' has surpassed 1 billion yen at the Japanese box office, achieving this milestone just 19 days after its August 7 debut. The film has maintained a position in the Top 10 for three consecutive weekends and has expanded its theatrical run to include MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema screenings.

Directed by Yusuke Taki and based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, the story follows a rigorous striker selection program designed to revitalize the Japanese national football team. The film features an ensemble cast including Masataka Kubota, Fumiya Takahashi, and Kaito Sakurai.

In Brazil, Sato Company has released pre-sale tickets for the film, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 10. The production is handled by studio CREDEUS.
