Blue Lock live‑action film premieres in Tokyo with full cast

The live‑action adaptation of the popular soccer manga "Blue Lock" held its world premiere on July 13 at Hibiya, Tokyo. Around 200 fans attended as twelve cast members, including leads Fumiya Takahashi, Kaion Sakurai, Kyōhei Takahashi and others, walked the "blue carpet" that echoed the title. The film, slated for release on August 7, follows a high‑school program that trains strikers to win the World Cup for Japan.

A related promotional push arrived on July 23 with the September issue of ViVi magazine.
