Blue Moon Metals advances critical mineral projects in US and Norway

Blue Moon Metals Inc. is expanding its presence in the critical minerals sector, focusing on tungsten, germanium, gallium, and copper to support Western supply chain security. The company has received permission to begin construction at its Springer site in Nevada, a historical mine equipped with existing shafts and milling facilities. Additionally, its Apex project has provided initial analysis data for germanium and gallium.

In Norway, the Nussir project is currently under construction based on a feasibility study. The company's capital position was recently strengthened by an equity financing round totaling 156.25 million CAD completed in May.

The strategic importance of these metals is highlighted by the tungsten market's concentration, with China accounting for approximately 79% of global mine production in 2025. Due to its applications in aerospace, electronics, and defense, NATO has classified tungsten as one of twelve defense-critical raw materials.
