Blue Origin to build aerospace facility in Texas

Blue Origin has announced the construction of a new 1.3 million-square-foot aerospace manufacturing complex in Hutto, Texas. Named Constellation Park, the multi-facility site is expected to create 2,000 jobs.

The facility will function as a central production hub for the company’s satellite and communications programs. Key projects to be supported include TeraWave, a satellite communications network designed for high-speed global connectivity, and Quartz, a ground communications network featuring large-aperture antennas for low Earth orbit missions.

Additionally, the campus will manufacture critical subsystems such as solar arrays, avionics, and telecommunications hardware. Blue Origin CEO Dave Limp stated that the expansion aims to leverage Texas’s talent pool to ensure American leadership in space innovation.
