Blue Panther Awards to honor German media talent
The Blue Panther - TV & Streaming Award, formerly known as the Bavarian Television Award, is preparing for its upcoming gala at BMW Welt during the Munich Media Days. The awards, which feature trophies made of Nymphenburg porcelain, recognize excellence in television, streaming, and social media formats.
Johannes B. Kerner has been named the recipient of the honorary award from Bavarian Minister President Markus Söder. The announcement was made during a recording of the show ‘Der Quiz-Champion’. Esther Sedlaczek will serve as the host of the gala for the second time.
The awards are divided into five categories: Information/Journalism, Fiction, Entertainment, Culture/Education, and Social Media. An independent jury of media experts determines the winners.
