Blueface targeted by two swatting calls in one day
Rapper Blueface, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, was the target of two separate swatting incidents in a single day on Wednesday, September 30, at his home in the Canyon Country area of Santa Clarita.
The first incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Pacific, when deputies responded to a report of child endangerment alleging a three-year-old had been thrown to the ground. Upon arrival, law enforcement found Porter livestreaming and discovered no children or evidence of the reported incident. A second call later that day claimed an individual inside the residence was experiencing a seizure, prompting a response from both firefighters and deputies. Responders found no medical emergency during this second visit.
These incidents are part of a documented pattern of harassment against the artist. Since July, Porter has reported at least six swatting incidents occurring at his Los Angeles-area property, a restaurant, and a residence in Miami. Swatting involves making false reports of imminent danger to trigger a heavy emergency services response to a specific location.
