Recurring swatting incidents targeting rapper Blueface

Overview

Rapper Blueface, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, continues to face a pattern of harassment through swatting incidents. Following previous reports in July and late August involving his restaurant, King of Crabs, and his residence, Porter was targeted by two separate swatting calls in a single day on Wednesday, September 30.

The first incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Pacific at his Canyon Country home in the Santa Clarita area. Deputies responded to a report of child endangerment alleging a three-year-old had been thrown to the ground, but found Porter livestreaming and no evidence of the reported incident. A second call later that day claimed an individual inside the residence was experiencing a seizure, which prompted a response from both firefighters and deputies; no medical emergency was found.

Since July, Porter has reported at least six swatting incidents occurring at his Los Angeles-area property, a restaurant, and a residence in Miami. These incidents involve making false reports of imminent danger to trigger heavy emergency services responses.
