BMW Alpina unveils Vision model at Villa d'Este, expands luxury lineup
BMW presented the Vision BMW Alpina Grand Tourer at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, marking the first major showcase since the Munich‑based automaker completed its acquisition of the Alpina brand in 2022. The new concept signals BMW’s intent to position Alpina between its performance‑focused M division and the ultra‑luxury Rolls‑Royce range, targeting the high‑end grand‑tourer segment. Executives indicated that the first production models will likely be based on the current 7 Series and X7 platforms, using the CLAR architecture.
Separate from the brand launch, the Italian dealer Nuova Auto Alpina is reshaping its sales model by emphasizing full transparency, customized leasing and long‑term rental options for professional customers, and rigorous pre‑delivery inspections of new and used vehicles. The dealership was recently included in the Top Dealers Italia guide, highlighting its innovative approach within the national automotive distribution network.
