BMW ALPINA Vision Concept Unveiled at Villa d'Este

The Vision BMW ALPINA concept was presented at the 2026 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy. The design study signals the brand’s new direction as a super‑luxury division within the BMW Group, positioned between standard BMW models and Rolls‑Royce.

The 5.20‑metre four‑seat grand‑tourer features a V8 powertrain, a “shark nose” front‑end, a sculpted “Speed Feature Line” along the side, 22‑inch front and 23‑inch rear wheels, and a glass‑roof canopy that extends to the rear luggage lid. Its interior emphasizes handcrafted materials, a clean architectural layout, and refined details that reveal themselves on closer inspection – a design philosophy described by BMW designers as “Second Read Sophistication.”

BMW Group Design head Adrian van Hooydonk noted that the concept “distils every element of the brand to its essence and applies it in a deeply modern and sophisticated way,” outlining how the model will influence production vehicles slated to appear from 2027, starting with a Series 7‑based sedan.
