BMW M1000RR receives new frame and performance upgrades for 2027 model and World Superbike

BMW Motorrad unveiled its 2027 model range, highlighting a completely new frame for the M1000RR superbike. Developed from experience in the World Superbike championship, the frame is about 30 % thinner in wall thickness, shedding roughly 1.3 kg and offering markedly improved flex and rigidity. The bike also gains new M Track Package options, forged M wheels as standard and carbon‑wheel choices, while the previous Competition Package is discontinued.

In the 2026 World Superbike season, the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team fielded riders Miguel Oliveira and Danilo Petrucci on the M1000RR, replacing former riders Toprak Razgatlıoğlu and Michael van der Mark. Oliveira secured three podiums at the Portimão round, and Petrucci consistently challenged the front‑row positions. Although Ducati remains dominant, the BMW machine’s aerodynamic and electronic upgrades have kept it competitive for podium finishes.
