BMW & MINI Racing 2026 Round 3 at Fuji Speedway sees intense three‑class battles
The BMW & MINI Racing 2026 series held its third round on 20‑21 June 2026 at Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka, Japan. The event featured the BMW M2 CS Racing Series and the MINI Challenge Japan, with three classes competing: M2 Racing, MINI JCW and MINI CPS.
In Race 5, driver Ishii Ikki won the M2 CS class, Imoto Daiga took the MINI JCW class, and the newcomer One chan captured the MINI CPS class. Race 6 saw Kato Junpei victorious in M2 Racing, Imoto Daiga repeat his win in MINI JCW, and Futita Seishun claim the MINI CPS title. The races highlighted the slipstream‑to‑corner overtaking battles unique to Fuji’s long straight and heavy braking zone.
Beyond competition, the weekend offered fan‑focused experiences such as pit‑lane tours, interactive zones and brand showcases, aiming to deepen BMW and MINI’s motorsport appeal. The series will continue at Sportsland SUGO for its next round.
