BMW Motorrad launches limited‑edition F 900 GS and unveils R 12 G/S competition bike

BMW Motorrad released the F 900 GS Enduro Pro Edition, a limited run of six motorcycles for South Korea priced at 23.8 million won (about RM67,700). The bike features an upgraded upside‑down Showa front fork, a ZF Sachs rear shock, higher handlebars, off‑road tyres, a DLC‑coated chain, an 895 cc engine producing 105 hp, a titanium Akrapovič exhaust, four riding modes and advanced electronics, and comes with a worldwide three‑year warranty.

The company also unveiled the R 12 G/S Competition Bike for the GS Trophy 2026, which will take place in Romania. Based on the 1,170 cc boxer‑twin R 12 G/S, the competition version adds factory accessories such as Hill‑Start Control, heated grips, adaptive cornering headlights, off‑road tyres, a larger fuel tank and an Akrapovič silencer. While not sold as a complete package, the standard R 12 G/S is available in Malaysia from RM121,000, with optional kits that allow customers to replicate the competition specification.
