BMW Motorrad 2026 GS Trophy bike

Overview

BMW Motorrad announced a special‑edition version of its R 12 G/S for the 2026 International GS Trophy, staged in Romania in late summer. The bike, painted Lightwhite with blue tank stripes and a red seat, is equipped with a Comfort Package (hill‑start control, gear‑shift assist, heated grips, cruise control), Headlight Pro adaptive lighting, Riding Modes Pro and an Enduro Package Pro that adds off‑road tyres, an 18‑inch rear wheel, a steering damper and other off‑road accessories. Additional components include engine‑protection covers, a rally‑style cockpit fairing, an Akrapovič silencer and a 5‑liter reserve bag that can serve as a rear sack.

In July 2026 BMW Motorrad also unveiled a limited‑edition F 900 GS Enduro Pro for South Korea, limited to six units and priced at roughly 23.8 million won. It features an upside‑down Showa fork, ZF Sachs rear shock, higher handlebars, off‑road tyres, a DLC‑coated chain, an 895 cc, 105 hp engine, a titanium Akrapovič exhaust, four riding modes and a three‑year worldwide warranty.

The same announcement reiterated the R 12 G/S Competition Bike details: factory accessories such as hill‑start control, heated grips, adaptive cornering headlights, off‑road tyres, an enlarged fuel tank and an Akrapovič silencer. While not sold as a complete package, the standard R 12 G/S remains available in Malaysia (starting at RM121,000) with optional kits that allow owners to replicate the competition specification.
