BMW iX3 reaches 100,000 orders in Europe during first year
BMW has reported a record-breaking first year for its iX3 electric vehicle, with 100,000 orders placed in Europe alone. This performance marks the strongest start for any BMW model within its first year of availability. The iX3, the first model based on the company’s ‘Neue Klasse’ platform, currently accounts for approximately one-third of all electric vehicle orders in Europe.
BMW plans to expand its ‘Neue Klasse’ lineup by introducing 40 new or updated models featuring these technologies by the end of 2027. Following the iX3, the company is set to begin orders for the i3, which will be the first fully electric 3 Series in the brand's history. While the initial rollout focuses on electric models, the underlying technologies are intended for use in internal combustion engine vehicles as well.
In a separate development, BMW Italia has renewed its partnership with AC Milan for the 2026/27 season. The agreement maintains BMW’s role as the Official Automotive Partner of the club, focusing on shared values of innovation and sustainability.
