BMW R 12 G/S GS Trophy Competition Bike unveiled for 2026 GS Trophy in Romania

BMW Motorrad announced a special‑edition R 12 G/S GS Trophy Competition bike for the 2026 International GS Trophy, which will return to Europe and be hosted in Romania in late summer 2026. The bike is built on the standard R 12 G/S platform but fitted with a suite of competition‑focused accessories, including a Comfort Package (Hill Start Control, Gear Shift Assist Pro, heated grips and cruise control), Headlight Pro with cornering light, Riding Modes Pro, and an Enduro Package Pro featuring off‑road tyres, an 18‑inch rear wheel and a steering damper. Additional equipment comprises engine protection covers, a Rally‑style cockpit, an Akrapovič exhaust system, and a 5‑liter reserve bag that doubles as a rear sack. It is painted in Lightwhite uni with blue reserve‑tank stickers and a red seat, reflecting BMW Motorrad Motorsport branding.
