BMW rolls out 2026 model upgrades and launches Art Cars exhibition in Munich
BMW announced a comprehensive set of updates for its 2026 model range, including new Black styling packages for M Performance models, expanded colour options, carbon‑fibre interior trims and the introduction of the M Ignite ignition system for its six‑cylinder engines to meet Euro 7 standards. The company also unveiled the upcoming iX3 40 electric variant, featuring a sixth‑generation eDrive system with 320 kW power and a WLTP range of up to 637 km, as well as an AI‑based Personal Assistant for German‑language users.
Separately, BMW will reunite its entire Art Cars collection for the first time at BMW Welt in Munich. The exhibition, running from 29 July to 31 August 2026, will display all 20 artist‑designed vehicles—including works by Alexander Calder, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons and Olafur Eliasson—highlighting the crossover of automotive engineering and contemporary art.
