BMW Vision Alpina concept unveiled as luxury shooting‑brake

BMW showcased the Vision Alpina concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2026. The study reimagines the Alpine‑branded model as a shooting‑brake, combining a grand‑tourer silhouette with a spacious, ultra‑luxurious interior.

The design features an aggressive front with a slanted double‑kidney grille, slim rear lights and a split tailgate reminiscent of a Range Rover. Power is provided by a twin‑turbo 4.4‑litre V8 derived from the current M5, paired with a plug‑in hybrid system delivering roughly 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, an 18.6 kWh battery and an estimated electric range of about 40 km.

Inside, a panoramic iVision display spans the cockpit, complemented by premium leather, art‑deco ambient lighting and dual screens for driver and passenger, offering seating for four. BMW signals that Alpina will continue as a distinct performance label rather than a top‑tier trim, aiming to fill a niche between ultra‑luxury and high‑performance models.
