BNB Chain leads 2026 real-world asset growth with $3.6 billion increase
BNB Chain has emerged as the fastest-growing blockchain for real-world assets (RWA) in 2026, according to data from CryptoRank. The network reported a year-to-date RWA value growth of approximately $3.6 billion, surpassing Solana, which recorded $2.6 billion in growth.
Stellar follows in third place with $2.5 billion in growth, while Ethereum ranks fourth with $1.6 billion, despite holding the largest overall share of the RWA market. The total value of RWAs across all blockchain networks has increased by over 50% since the start of the year, totaling roughly $39 billion.
While the growth indicates expanding distribution of tokenized assets such as funds, Treasuries, and equities, analysts note that these metrics measure the scale of reported increases rather than total value, trading activity, or specific demand for native tokens like BNB. Risks such as issuer concentration and the lack of a product-by-product breakdown remain considerations for the sector.
