Bình Tiên Bridge Project to Boost Connectivity in Ho Chi Minh City
The Bình Tiên bridge‑road project, spanning roughly 3.2‑3.6 km, is under construction to link Ho Chi Minh City's western districts with its southern areas. With an estimated investment of about VND 6.3 trillion, the new corridor will connect District 6, District 8 and the former Bình Chánh district, joining major arteries such as Nguyễn Văn Linh Avenue and Võ Văn Kiệt Avenue.
When completed, the bridge is expected to ease traffic on existing bottlenecks like the Chữ Y bridge and Nguyễn Văn Cừ road, shorten travel times between the city centre and the south, and stimulate real‑estate and commercial development along the route. Experts note that while the infrastructure will improve accessibility, property values will still depend on location, legal status and broader market factors.
