Bobb’e Thompson sentenced to 30 months in federal prison

Actor Bobb’e Thompson, known for his roles in ‘That’s So Raven’ and ‘The Tracy Morgan Show’, has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. The sentence follows his guilty plea to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

The incident occurred in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, when Thompson was pulled over by a state trooper for driving 104 miles per hour. During the stop, he was found in possession of a loaded, allegedly stolen firearm.

Judge Leonard T. Strand ruled that the 30-month prison term and two-and-a-half years of supervised release will commence after Thompson completes any additional sentences related to pending criminal cases in Washington and Missouri. The judge suggested Thompson serve his time in a facility in Oklahoma, Illinois, or Kansas to remain near his family.
