Bobrowniki and Kolno push ahead with general land-use plans

The Gmina Bobrowniki in Poland has opened a public consultation on its General Plan, running from 15 June to 13 July 2026. Residents can submit comments in person at the municipal office, by mail, or electronically. An open meeting is scheduled for 24 June at the local sports hall, and a designer’s duty session will take place on 2 July to review individual plot proposals.

In the neighboring town of Kolno, the municipal council concluded its public consultation in May and is preparing to vote on the city’s General Plan. Mayor Andrzej Duda highlighted proposals to increase the active building zone by 15 % and noted a slight population decline of 1.1 % per year. The plan also accommodates the presence of two new military battalions and a garrison, which may affect development options. The document will be forwarded for regional approval before final adoption.
