Boca Juniors and Atlas negotiate definitive transfer of Kevin Zenón

Boca Juniors and Atlas de Guadalajara are negotiating a definitive transfer for 25-year-old midfielder Kevin Zenón. While initial discussions centered on a loan agreement, both clubs are now working toward a permanent sale involving 100% of the player's economic rights.

The estimated value of the transaction is approximately $5 million. Because Unión de Santa Fe retains a percentage of Zenón's rights, the club is expected to receive a proportional financial injection once the deal is finalized.

Zenón, who had recently regained his starting position, reportedly sought a move to ensure greater continuity and a leading role. Atlas is currently managed by Hernán Crespo. Although negotiations have progressed significantly, the transfer has not yet been officially confirmed.
