Boca Juniors manages transfer negotiations for Zenón and defensive reinforcements
Boca Juniors is active in the transfer market ahead of the September 2 deadline, managing both potential departures and incoming reinforcements.
Atlas of Mexico has entered negotiations to sign midfielder Kevin Zenón. While Atlas previously proposed a loan with an option to buy, Boca Juniors has rejected this, insisting on an obligation to buy to protect their investment. The club originally paid $3.5 million for 80 percent of the player's economic rights in January 2024.
On the defensive front, Boca is looking to strengthen its center-back position. The coaching staff has identified Nehuén Pérez as a priority target. While the player has expressed willingness to return to Argentina, formal negotiations between the clubs have not yet been established. Francisco Álvarez is also being considered as a defensive option, though no formal offer has been made.
