Bochum senior robbed of necklace, police seek witnesses
On Saturday, 25 July, a 71‑year‑old woman was approached on Bochum’s Am Heerbusch street around 12:45 p.m. An unidentified male stripped the victim’s necklace and fled as a passenger in a large, light‑gray car. Police describe the suspect as a slender man, 25‑30 years old, about 168‑172 cm tall, with a darker complexion and “Southeastern European appearance,” short black hair, no beard, wearing a blue long‑sleeve shirt and black trousers. The Bochum criminal investigation department is reviewing the case and asks anyone with information to contact the police at 0234 909‑8205 or ‑4441.
