Germany July 2026 robberies

Police investigations in Germany have recorded a string of robberies in late July 2026. On 21 July in Hamburg, a 69‑year‑old resident was duped by two suspects posing as package deliverers; the male was described as about 35 years old with an Eastern‑European appearance and the female as around 25 years old with a Southern‑European look. Four days later, two separate crimes occurred. In Bochum, a 71‑year‑old woman was approached at about 12:45 p.m. on Am Heerbusch street; a slender male suspect, 25‑30 years old, 168‑172 cm tall, with a darker complexion and “Southeastern European” features, stripped her necklace and fled as a passenger in a light‑gray car. Police have posted the suspect’s description and provided contact numbers (0234 909‑8205 / ‑4441) for witnesses. The same afternoon, a burglary on Sollingstraße in Mörfelden‑Walldorf yielded watches, jewellery and a laptop. Local authorities continue to seek information on each incident.
