Boeing awarded $131B U.S. Air Force F-15 production contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a sole-source contract with a spending ceiling of up to $131.23 billion for the F-15 Eagle Crest program. This indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity vehicle covers the production, modernization, systems integration, and sustainment of the F-15 Eagle fleet through August 2037.

The contract is designed to consolidate F-15 work to increase operational speed and reduce administrative burdens for both domestic requirements and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The scope includes aircraft production, retrofits, and the establishment of organic depot maintenance, with much of the work to be performed in St. Louis, Missouri.

Beyond the United States, the program supports several allied operators. Identified nations include Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Singapore, with potential involvement from Indonesia and Poland. The contract allows for orders to be placed through 2031, with an option to extend the window to 2036.
