Boeing has been awarded a sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Department of Defense for the F-15 Eagle Crest program. The contract has a maximum ceiling of $131.23 billion and covers a wide range of activities, including aircraft production, systems integration, modernization, upgrades, retrofits, and sustainment, as well as the establishment of depot maintenance capabilities.
The work is expected to be conducted at Boeing facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, with a projected completion date of August 2037. The initial ordering period is scheduled to run through August 24, 2031, with an option to extend the period until August 24, 2036. At the time of the award, approximately $343,740 in research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) funds were committed.
