Bogor BPN office searched over suspected 2019 land registration forgery

Police from the Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Investigation Directorate have conducted searches at three locations in Bogor Regency, including the Bogor National Land Agency (BPN) office, regarding suspected forgery within the 2019 Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

Investigators have examined 50 witnesses and seized physical documents, electronic files, computers, and typewriters as evidence. The suspected forgery occurred during the data collection and verification stages of the 2019 program, leading to the cancellation of several PTSL certificates.

In response to the investigation, Ahmad Sahroni, Vice Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), called for a thorough probe into the alleged land mafia activities. He urged authorities to not only prosecute field actors but also to uncover any officials from the Ministry of Agraria and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) who may be involved in organizing or profiting from these illegal practices.
