Overview

Police from the Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Investigation Directorate conducted searches at three locations in Bogor Regency, including the Bogor National Land Agency (BPN) office. The investigation concerns suspected forgery during the 2019 Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program, specifically during the data collection and verification stages.

Authorities have examined 50 witnesses and seized physical documents, electronic files, computers, and typewriters. The suspected forgery resulted in the cancellation of several PTSL certificates. Ahmad Sahroni, Vice Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), has called for a thorough probe into alleged ‘land mafia activities,’ urging investigators to identify any officials from the Ministry of Agraria and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) who may be involved in organizing or profiting from these practices.
