Bogotá hosts diverse cultural and gastronomic festivals

Bogotá is hosting a wide array of cultural, gastronomic, and seasonal events throughout October and November 2026. The Bogotá Gourmet festival is currently underway, featuring over 80 restaurants offering tiered menus for two people ranging from $89,000 to $199,000 COP.

For the Halloween season, the city offers various activities, including free children's programming organized by Idartes, such as theater and music, as well as specialized events like the Festival del Terror at Salitre Mágico and the Misterio International Halloween Festival. Additionally, the Oktoberfest Artesanal X is set to feature over 40 independent breweries, live music, and a commitment to sustainability by eliminating single-use plastics.

Looking toward November, the city will host the first edition of the Festival Carranguero on November 7 and 8, celebrating traditional Colombian peasant music with free concerts in Engativá and La Media Torta.
