Bogotá launches third International Biennial of Arts for Children

Bogotá officially opened the third International Biennial of Arts for Children, a multi‑disciplinary cultural festival aimed at giving children and families access to theater, music, dance, literature, visual arts and other creative activities.

The program features Colombian and foreign companies, workshops, labs, pedagogical meetings and free or low‑cost events across city venues. Academic sessions bring together specialists and cultural managers to discuss artistic education and policy. The biennial is supported by the District Institute of the Arts (IDARTES) as part of Bogotá’s broader effort to decentralize cultural offerings and strengthen its year‑round cultural agenda.
