Bogotá offers 10,000 free English courses through ‘Yes, Bogotá’

The ‘Yes, Bogotá’ program, an initiative led by the Bogotá Mayor's Office and the District Secretariat for Economic Development in partnership with the Colombo Centro Americano, is offering 10,000 free English language training spots. The program aims to enhance the professional profiles of Bogotá residents to facilitate entry into high-demand sectors such as technology, tourism, gastronomy, BPO, and audiovisual services.

To qualify, applicants must be adults residing in Bogotá and possess a minimum English proficiency level of A2. The training includes virtual classes, employability workshops, and job fairs to connect participants with partner companies. Registration is open until August 17, 2026, or until all spots are filled. The initiative also includes specific opportunities for residents over the age of 50 to improve their labor competitiveness.
