Bogotá school teams with Botanical Garden on ecological fanzines

In July 2026, students at Colegio Cundinamarca in the Ciudad Bolívar district of Bogotá created handmade ecological fanzines as part of the “Tejiendo el Territorio” program run by the Jardín Botánico de Bogotá.

The project combined graphic art, recycled paper and lessons on local flora and pollinators, producing pocket‑size guides that students will share with families and neighbours to raise awareness of urban biodiversity. The initiative is part of the city’s broader effort to promote environmental education and community science.
