Bogotá to host Night Ciclovía on August 27

The Bogotá Night Ciclovía, titled ‘Paseo bajo las Estrellas’, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. This event, which was previously postponed due to an earthquake on August 10, is part of the city’s 29th Summer Festival.

The route will cover approximately 94 kilometers of enabled roads, including traditional corridors such as Carrera Séptima, Calle 116, Avenida Boyacá, and Avenida Calle 26. A new feature for this edition is the ‘Ciclopaseo Distritos Creativos’, which will run along Carrera Séptima from Plaza de Bolívar to Calle 60.

In collaboration with the District Secretariat of Culture, Recreation, and Sport, the event will feature cultural stations at various points, including Parque Santander, Plazoleta Bulevar de San Diego, and Parque de los Hippies. These stations will offer artistic interventions, cultural activities, and mobile services to promote physical activity and sustainable mobility.
