Bogotá's Ciudad Bolívar Holds Free Health and Wellness Day for Residents

The Bogotá district health secretariat organized a community event called “Más Bienestar y Vínculos de Vida” in the Ciudad Bolívar locality. The day offered free health services, including basic medical check‑ups, vaccinations, mental‑health counseling, and psychosocial orientation, targeting children, youth, seniors and other vulnerable groups.

In addition to health screenings, the program featured recreational and cultural activities aimed at promoting healthy habits, peaceful coexistence and stronger family and neighborhood ties. Officials said the initiative seeks to bring preventive health and social‑support services to neighborhoods with higher need and limited access, expecting to benefit hundreds of families in Ciudad Bolívar.
