Bolivia forensic analysis suggests audio of Cerimedo and Zamora is 99% human

Digital forensic analysis by Bolivia Verifica indicates a 99% probability that a leaked audio recording featuring Fernando Cerimedo and Minister Mauricio Zamora consists of human voices rather than AI-generated speech. The analysis utilized two independent tools, Undetectable.ai and ElevenLabs, with the latter finding only a 2% match for AI-generated audio.

The recording, which lasts approximately five minutes, allegedly depicts a conversation regarding a plan to capture former President Evo Morales. In the dialogue, the voice attributed to Cerimedo discusses an operational timeline of 15 days and requests between 7 and 8 million Bolivianos to fund equipment, including thermal drones, trackers, and helicopter rentals.

Minister Zamora has dismissed the recording as a “chacota” (a mockery or joke). While the forensic tools suggest the voices are human, Bolivia Verifica noted that these results do not provide a definitive certification of authenticity, as they cannot rule out potential edits, cuts, or subsequent alterations to the audio.
