Bolivian Senate to vote on Camacho and Lupo ambassadorial posts
The President of the Bolivian Senate, Diego Ávila, announced that the Senate will hold a session this Thursday to consider two high-level diplomatic appointments.
The Senate will review the nominations of former governor Luis Fernando Camacho, proposed as Ambassador to Paraguay, and former minister José Luis Lupo, proposed as the permanent representative to the Organization of American States (OAS).
Both candidates have already presented their work plans to the International Policy Commission. Following the commission's review and subsequent report, the full Senate plenary will debate and vote to either approve or reject the nominations.
