Bologna pursue Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin

Serie A club Bologna, led by newly appointed coach Domenico Tedesco, have registered a concrete interest in signing 25‑year‑old Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin from Glasgow Rangers. The midfielder, who has 145 appearances for Rangers, is valued at about €12 million and has two years left on his contract. Tedesco sees Raskin as a dynamic, right‑footed defensive midfielder who can anchor the team’s midfield in a 4‑3‑5 system. Raskin, a former Standard Liège youth product, was previously omitted from the Belgium national team by Tedesco, stating publicly that "Domenico Tedesco had a list of 150 players, and I wasn’t even on it". The former Rangers boss Danny Röhl described Raskin as "my man on the pitch" and praised his leadership. Reports also mention a possible swap deal involving Scottish midfielder Lewis Ferguson, though that remains speculative. Bologna’s pursuit adds to interest from other Serie A sides such as Atalanta.
