Bolsa Família: Caixa pays beneficiaries with NIS ending in 4

Caixa Econômica Federal is releasing the August installment of the Bolsa Família program this Friday, August 21, for beneficiaries with a Social Identification Number (NIS) ending in 4. Approximately 19.3 million families are set to benefit this month, with an average benefit value of R$ 678.35.

While the minimum guaranteed amount is R$ 600, total payments can exceed R$ 750 due to specific family composition additions. These include R$ 150 for families with children up to 6 years old, R$ 50 for pregnant women or children/adolescents aged 7 to 18, and a R$ 50 monthly payment for mothers of infants up to six months old.

In 186 municipalities across seven states—Amazonas, Bahia, Paraíba, Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Roraima, and Sergipe—payments were previously expedited on Tuesday, August 18, due to local states of emergency or calamity. Beneficiaries can manage their funds, including transfers and payments, via the Caixa Tem application.
