Bonito municipality continues rural road maintenance program

The Prefeitura de Bonito, through its Secretariat of Municipal Works, is keeping a permanent schedule for the maintenance and rehabilitation of more than 3,000 km of rural roads across the municipality. This week the crews are concentrating on the Águas do Miranda district and the road network serving the Fazenda São Paulo area. Works include grading, graveling, fixing critical points and improving drainage systems.

The ongoing program aims to guarantee safe and reliable travel for residents, agricultural producers, workers, students and tourists, while also supporting the transport of farm products and access to public services. The city describes the effort as part of its broader infrastructure actions to improve safety and mobility in Bonito’s countryside.
