Campo Grande and Bonito advance public service and infrastructure projects
Various municipal initiatives and infrastructure developments are underway in Mato Grosso do Sul. In Campo Grande, the city is hosting the fourth edition of the Festival do Idoso (FestSuas) at the Vovó Ziza Elderly Coexistence Center. The event features a cultural exhibition titled ‘Meu Bairro, Minha História’ to promote socialization and active aging among seniors.
Additionally, the city is conducting the ‘Mutirão Todos em Ação’ in the Oliveira II neighborhood, providing over 300 free services including document issuance, legal guidance, and veterinary care. Traffic improvements are also planned for the intersection of Avenida Euler de Azevedo and Avenida Tamandaré, with a R$ 2.4 million investment for new signaling and paving.
In Bonito, municipal officials are coordinating with Energisa and the State Housing Agency (AGEHAB) to advance electricity network implementation in the Mimoso and Rio da Prata allotments, as well as finalizing the approval of 28 housing units.
