Bonito launches first instruction course for self-propelled vehicles

The city of Bonito has hosted its first instruction course for the operation of self-propelled vehicles. This training initiative focuses on individual micromobility, including electric bicycles and scooters.

The program was organized by the State Transit Council of Mato Grosso do Sul (CETRAN-MS) in partnership with the Bonito City Hall through the Municipal Transit Department (DEMTRAT). It is part of the ‘Micromobility with Safety’ project, which aims to integrate regulation, guidance, and traffic education.

This initiative follows the publication of Decree No. 47/2026, which establishes rules for circulation, municipal registration, and safety requirements for electric bicycles and other self-propelled vehicles. The goal is to ensure safer and more organized urban movement for users, pedestrians, and other drivers in a city that hosts thousands of visitors annually.
